How do I get to your office?
When you arrive at the office you will need to use the callbox inside the mailroom. Press 80# and I will buzz you in through the black door. Come to the second floor via the elevator. Turn right when exiting the elevator and proceed to the second door on your left; the massage room is the first door on your left through there. Give me a call or text if you can't find your way.

How often should I get massage?
Generally, I tell clients to see how they feel after their first session and to decide for themselves how often they would like to be on the table!
In my experience, people experiencing chronic pain benefit from getting regular massage; as often as every week to once a month. When dealing with acute problems, you may want to receive treatment weekly for a month to 4 weeks and then spread out appointments from there. Similarly, post-operative lymphatic massage is most useful as soon as you are cleared by your surgeon with a frequency of weekly or biweekly for the initial healing period. You may wish to take more time between sessions as your recovery progresses.

Should I leave on my underwear for my session?
Being naked under the blankets is completely normal! You will be tucked in and your space will be respected at all times. Not wearing underwear allows me to get to gluteal attachments easily and relieves lymph blockages tremendously when doing manual lymphatic drainage. That said, you are completely free to wear underwear if it makes you feel more comfortable! I can work over them, or over the sheet for extra privacy.
If you are having a Visceral Manipulation appointment, it is normal to work while wearing underwear or loose fitting shorts and a tank top or shirt. These sessions require more movement from the client and being more clothed can aid in this process.

How soon after surgery can I receive post-operative massage?
I have seen clients as quickly as the day after surgery, with clearance from their surgeon. Manual Lymphatic Drainage can have benefits right away by reducing swelling considerably.
